Ans: Yes, you are required to carry original versions and photocopies of all the documents that are required for the NEET counselling process. However, you need not submit original documents at the institute after reporting there. The institute will only accept photocopies of the documents that are required to be submitted to them. 


Ques: Are self-attested documents required for NEET counselling 2026? 

Ans: Yes, you must self-attest all the documents that you carry for the document verification to the institute allotted in the NEET UG counselling 2026. In case self-attestation is not required, the institute will usually mention that separately.
