Haryana State Quota Counselling 2025: Eligibility

Haryana NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025: To become eligible to enter MBBS and BDS studies, candidates have to satisfy all Haryana NEET counselling eligibility criteria. Here is the full list of criteria in order to be eligible for Haryana NEET Counselling 2025.

  • You should have passed your 12th-grade examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as your primary subjects from a recognized board.
  • The candidate who is running should be a native of India. To receive age benefits through state-based counselling, he should have been born in Haryana or be a resident of Haryana for at least 10 years.
  • Should fulfill the domicile requirements of Haryana state (for seats under the state quota). For private colleges, domicile is not obligatory.
  • Haryana NEET counselling can accommodate individuals at least 17 years old.

Haryana State Quota Counselling 2025: Counselling Process

The Haryana NEET UG Counselling process consists of several steps:

Step 1: Registration

Haryana State Quota Counselling 2025: Counselling Fee

Haryana NEET UG counselling fee is as follows.

  • General category: Rs 2,500
  • Reserved category: Rs 1,250
  • NRI category: Rs 10,000


All India Quota Counselling: Eligibility

All those students who have passed the NEET UG exam held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to seek All India Quota Medical Counselling. The qualifying score of NEET 2024 for the unreserved category was 162. For OBC/SC/ST candidates, it was 127. All the Eligible candidates must download the NEET Rank letter from the official NTA website.

NEET Rank letter includes NEET score, All India Rank, and Category Rank. Although all the eligible students are eligible, students with an All India Rank less than the number of All India Quota seats have a better chance of obtaining an MBBS seat.

Students of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh , and Jammu Kashmir were not eligible to appear for All India Quota Counselling a few years ago.


All India Quota Counselling: Counselling Procedure

For availing MBBS seat under 15% All India Quota, candidates must register and opt for their choices of the medical college. They have to undergo 5 step counselling process given below.

  • Online Registration
  • Payment of Registration Fees and Security Deposit
  • Choice Filling of Medical Colleges & Freezing of Choices
  • Seat Allotment Process and Result Declaration – by MCC
  • Reporting at the Medical College Allotted or Declining the Allotment
  • There will be two counselling rounds by MCC. Steps 3,4, and 5 are repeated for counselling of the second round. The security deposit amount will be refunded if the seat is not allotted in the second round of counselling.


All India Quota Counselling: Registration Fees & Security Deposit

  • For Unreserved candidates, a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1000 should be remitted to be eligible for the All India Counselling. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates, the registration fee is Rs 500.
  • In addition to registration fees, the candidates have to remit a refundable security amount. The security amount is adjusted against the tuition fees of the college if the candidate is assigned a seat. If the seat is not assigned, then this security amount is deposited in the candidate's bank account by the Medical Counselling Committee.
  • For Unreserved candidates, the refundable security value is Rs . .10,000. For SC/ST/OBC/PH, it is Rs 5000. For instance, any OBC/SC/ST/PH candidate will be required to pay Rs 5000 + Rs 500 = Rs. 5,500 during registration.
