The tuition fee of government colleges varies from ₹65,000 to ₹1.10 lakh per year and the tuition fee of government quota seats in private colleges is about ₹1.4–1.6 lakh per year. The management fees range from ₹27 lakh/year to ₹45 lakh/year per year, depending on the institution. NRI quota fees range from ₹27 lakh/year to ₹45 lakh/year per year, depending on the institution.

But, the government quota seats are available for candidates who have Karnataka domicile status, whereas other state domicile candidates can fill the private/ deemed/ management/NRI quota seats based on the eligibility criteria mentioned by KEA. For the 2024-25 academic year, MBBS seats in Karnataka have reached 12,545 across 73 medical colleges.

Admission Process for MBBS in Karnataka

Here are the steps students need to follow to get admission to colleges in Karnataka for MBBS course.


Step 1: Application Form and Preparation
