The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has released the provisional merit list for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 round 1 counselling. The list declares 10,901 candidates eligible for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses in government and private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil NEET PG cutoff is between 691 and 235.

921 Candidates Declared Ineligible Across Quotas

A few days ago, DMER marked 921 candidates ineligible for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling. The cited reason was submission of improper documents. To give another chance to these candidates, DMER also opened a portal to raise objections by the candidates.

Tamil Nadu to Add 460 New PG Seats by 2026

Recently, Tamil Nadu announced that 460 new PG medical seats will be added in 13 government medical colleges. These seats will be available from the 2026-27 academic year. The move will expand training opportunities and boost the Tamil Nadu NEET PG seat matrix.
