Admissions
Admission processes for 2025 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medicine (ABVIMS) and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi: The ABVIMS offers programs such as MBBS, MD, M.Sc, DM, and M.Ch, which are strictly based on national entrance examinations. For MBBS, candidates must pass NEET-UG, pass a 10+2 examination in physics, chemistry, biology, and English, and score at least 50% in PCB (40% for the reserved category).

Infrastructure
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital was founded by the British with only 54 beds. After independence, it was inherited by the New Delhi City Council and transferred to the Central Government in 1954. It currently occupies 30 acres and has 1,532 beds, including a 94-bed CGHS nursing home.
The hospital provides emergency medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and pediatric emergency services, as well as advanced facilities such as cardiac catheter laboratories, Intensive Care Units, and disaster response infrastructure. It deals with over 185,000 OPD cases, 67,000 indoor admissions, and 2,755,000 emergency visits each year.
It also performs 11,000 major and 49,000 minor surgeries annually. RML Hospital remains a cornerstone of Delhi's public health services, with robust diagnostic services (CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory tests), modern waste management systems, and over 3,100 administrative staff.

The Dhanwantri Chhatrawas at ABVIMS & Dr. RML Hospital is a 20-story hostel with central air conditioning, six elevators, CCTV surveillance, and electricity available around the clock. With equipped apartments and clean water on each floor, it has distinct wings for boys and girls, known as Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati Skandh.
There are other food alternatives close to the university gates, and two subsidized messes serve meals with changing menus.With annual costs ranging from 12,000 to 18,000, hostel allocation gives preference to female students, Divyang candidates, and out-of-town students. A security deposit of ₹5,000 is needed, which is refundable. Every resident is required to provide documentation and accept the hostel's policies.
