Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Etawah was established in 2005 under the UP State Act. NIRF has ranked the UPUMS Etawah in the 101-125 rank band in the Pharmacy category. It is recognized and accredited by UGC, NMC, DCI, and PCI. MBBS is the flagship course offered by the university, and other courses include MD, MS, B.Sc., and BPharm. The university has 200 MBBS seats, and 60 seats each in MD, BPT, BMLT, and B.Sc Nursing.
