AP EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2026
The candidates appearing in AP EAPCET 2026 shall be required to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the admission authority. The requirements in college can differ during the counselling.

AP EAPCET Eligibility
Below are the eligibility criteria required for the AP EAPCET 2026 exam.
Educational Qualification
- Engineering: 10+2 with Physics, mathematics, and chemistry or equivalent diploma.
- Agriculture/Pharmacy: 10+2 Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany/Zoology).
- Minimum 45 % marks in the qualifying examination (40 % marks to SC/ST/BC).
Age Limit
- Most courses require a minimum of 16 years; B.Tech Agricultural engineering, Dairy technology, or Food science require 17 years by December 31, 2026.
- B.Sc. Agriculture 17-22 years (25 years in case of SC/ST).
Domicile
The candidates should be domiciled in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and fulfil the requirements of local/non-local status as per APSCHE.
All India Candidates
It is open to the candidates, although the students are not eligible without the AP EAPCET scores unless they are seeking state quota seats.
Category Certificate
The candidates who seek reservation (BC/SC/ST/EWS) will have to produce effective category certificates at the time of counselling.

AP EAPCET Syllabus
The AP EAPCET 2026 syllabus is framed by the AP EAPCET Board of Intermediate Education (APEBIE) or also known as APSCHE, following the syllabus of 10+2. The examinee is tested based on two streams that include Engineering (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and Agriculture/Pharmacy (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Preparation Guide for AP EAPCET 2026
- Understand the AP EAPCET 2026 course for PCM (Engineering) or PCB (Agriculture/Pharmacy) at Cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses, focusing on main areas such as mathematics/biology (80 questions), physics (40), and chemistry (40).
- To improve time management and accuracy, solve 5-10 previous years' papers and fake tests from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
- Analyse errors to strengthen weak areas and increase performance.
- Prefer the topics with high loads, such as math or biology, award 2-3 hours daily.
- Balance Study time between modification and practice for conceptual clarity.
- Be aware of using basic principles in physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology, just beyond remembering formulas.
- Use NCERT books and references such as H.C. Verma (physics) or RD for deep understanding, and Sharma (mathematics).
