Overview

DU LLB Entrance Exam is a national-level entrance examination for admissions to Delhi University law programs. Around 20,000 students passed the DU LLB entrance exams in 2025. NTA now conducts the examination, and the examination level is moderate to high. Currently, CUET PG has replaced the DU LLB entrance exam. The last date of admission fee payment is July 29, 2025. 

The mode of exam is computer-based, and the difficulty level varies from moderate to high. To be eligible to apply for DU LLB entrance exams, the candidates must possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised university in any stream. General/EWS candidates must have at least 50% marks; OBC, 45%; and SC/ST, 40% respectively

Candidates have to apply online and pay ₹250 registration fees. Candidates have to upload the admit card online. DU LLB entrance exam syllabus includes  English Language, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.

What is DU LLB 2025?

The DU LLB entrance exam is a national-level exam that is held to get admission in the LL.B course. It is a three-course course at the University of Delhi. Any graduate can take the exam, and the students are evaluated on legal reasoning, general knowledge and English comprehension, logic, and simple arithmetic.

To be eligible to apply for DU LLB entrance exams, the candidates must possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised university in any stream. Those in their final year can apply only provisionally. There is no age restriction.  Students with backlogs are not eligible unless these are cleared before admission. DU LLB 2025 Answer Key

NTA releases the provisional answer key within a week of the exam. Candidates can find the answer key in the official portal and can access it via their login credentials. Objections to specific questions must be raised in writing with documentation, and the cost is usually  ₹200 per question. After the objections are solved, the final answer key is released.

DU LLB 2025 Counselling

The DU LLB counselling 2025 is determined by Delhi University and not NTA. After the announcement of results and cutoffs, counselling begins. It is an online process under the common seat allocation system. Multiple counselling rounds are conducted by DU. Candidates must first register for an LLB course and then fill out their college choice form.  Seats are allocated according to rank, category, and availability. Shortlisted candidates will receive a provisional offer of admission, which must be accepted within the deadline. The seat is confirmed only after document verification and payment. If a candidate misses the deadline, the seat goes to the next candidate.
