Eligibility Component

Specific Requirement

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 format) in any discipline from a UGC-recognised university.

Final-Year Student Eligibility

Allowed to apply; must produce final marksheet and proof of passing before document verification.

Minimum Marks – General/EWS

50% aggregate marks across all semesters/years of graduation.

Minimum Marks – OBC/CW

45% aggregate marks

Minimum Marks – SC/ST/PwD

40% aggregate marks

Degree Type Accepted

Indian degrees from UGC-approved institutions; foreign degrees must be AIU-recognised.

Subject Stream

Open to all streams – Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, etc.

Rounding Off Marks

Not permitted; 49.99% (General) is treated as ineligible

Backlogs at Time of Admission

Not allowed; all backlogs must be cleared before final admission

Age Limit

No age restriction as per DU and Bar Council of India guidelines.

Reservation Validity

Category certificate must be valid and issued by a competent authority; older/invalid formats not accepted.

• Vocabulary: Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms, Analogies, Word Definitions, One-word Substitution, Idioms, and Phrases.
• Grammar & Usage: Sentence Improvement & Rearrangement, Jumbled Paragraphs, Paragraph Completion, Spotting Grammatical Errors (Tense, Voice, Preposition Usage, Speech Errors), Correct Spelling, English Usage Errors.

General Knowledge & Current Affairs

• Indian Polity & Constitution: Constitutional framework, Fundamental Rights & Duties, Directive Principles of State Policy, key Articles & Amendments, structure of Central & State Governments, Judiciary, important Supreme Court judgments.
• History: Major events and periods in Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History, and significant world history events.
