GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

GPAT Exam 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) to enable admission to Pharmacy (PG) courses for the eligible candidates. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is expected to be held in the last week of May 2026. 

The notification of GPAT will be made available on the official website of NBEMS - natboard.edu.in.   Filling of the GPAT application form is expected to be in April 2026. Interested candidates who are eligible to apply can fill the registration form for the next cycle as soon as it is made available.

GPAT 2026 Eligibility for Application Process

Candidates who want to sit for GPAT 2026 are to fulfill the following eligibility criteria: 

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.  
  • A B. Pharm. degree (4 years course after +2) or a similar qualification from a recognized university is a must.  
  • A final year (4th year) B. Pharm student awaiting results before M. Pharm admissions for 2026 are eligible. 
  • Pre-final year students (3rd year) awaiting results before admissions for 2025-26 are also eligible.
