Indira CET Exam Overview

The Indira University Common Entrance Test, also referred to as Indira CET (UG) for undergraduate programs, Indira CET (UG) and IUCET (PG) for postgraduate programs.

It is the official entrance examination conducted by Indira University, Pune, for admission into its various academic schools and courses. It is an online adaptive exam that evaluates candidates’ aptitude and readiness for higher education programs in fields such as Business, Technology, Pharmacy, IT, Economics, and more. It consists of 50 MCQs comprising of 100 marks each question of 2 marks. There is no negative marking. The allotted time to complete the examination is 90 minutes.

Indira Cet evaluates a student based on their knowledge in the following areas, such as English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Subject-Specific Section, and Pharmacy Candidates

Applications and exam scheduling are handled online through the official Indira University admissions portal. To complete registration, please register, verify your email, complete the form, and make the required fee payment.

The candidates are free to choose exam dates and slots as per their convenience and availability, after paying the application fees. No other exam scores will be entertained other than its own entrance exam.

The IUCET (UG & PG) is designed to:

  • Determine fundamental ability and academic preparedness.
  • Make it possible for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Indira University.
  • Promote shortlisting and admission offers on a merit basis to eligible candidates.

Indira University Common Entrance Test (IUCET / Indira CET) has a straightforward and student-friendly online admission procedure. It is recommended that candidates go through every step in order to achieve successful registration and admission.

Step 1: Registration of Application Online.

  • The first step that the candidates have to follow involves completion of the online application form on the official Indira University admissions portal.
  • The applicants will be asked to provide correct information about themselves, their academic background, and their contact details. Any discrepancy in the information can result in rejection in the future.

Step 2: Application Fee payment.

  • Once the application form is completed, the applicants will have to pay the non-refundable application fee online via the available payment options.
  • The application will be deemed as valid only upon payment of the successful fees.

Step 3: Issue of Hall Ticket / Admit Card.

The candidates will be issued their hall ticket/admit card after verifying their application and payment.

Indira CET: Guidelines for International Students 

Indira University has students of multiple nationalities. Before applying, international applicants are advised to take the time and read the following admission guidelines and requirements.

General Admission Guidelines

  • To complete the online form of application, the applicants are required to go through and comprehend the admission process.
  • The surname and the first name should be an exact match of the passport. No corrections would be allowed later.
  • The candidates are required to have the program, options, and specialisation that they are applying for as specified.
  • Only with a valid Student Visa is admission strictly provided - Tourist / X / Entry / Medical visas are not welcome.
  • Any scholarly papers should be translated into English (if they were issued in a different language).
  • Tentative admission will be made pending the verification of original documents by the University.

  • The Office of International Affairs will send a Provisional Admission Offer Letter.
  • The applicants are given 10 days to either approve or disapprove the offer.
  • Acceptance: The one should submit a digitally signed acceptance letter.
  • Only after the visa approval and document verification, admission is guaranteed.
