Students are required to fulfil the JCECE 2025 eligibility criteria to participate in the exam. To be eligible for the exam, students must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board.

JCECE Eligibility

Below are the eligibility criteria for the JCECE exam.

For the BTech Course

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in Physics, Mathematics, and English, along with Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology, and 40% for the Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology, and 40% for the reserved category.
  • Appearing students are also eligible to apply.
  • Domicile of Jharkhand state
  • Indian Nationality 
  • Qualified for JEE Mains examination
  • Medically Fit

JCECE Syllabus

The JCECE 2025 syllabus is the first step toward preparation. The JCECE syllabus is divided into four subjects: Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. It does not have a fixed syllabus, but based on previous years, the major questions are mostly from these areas. Refer to the table below for all the details of the JCECE syllabus.

Preparation Guide for JCECE 2025

The JCECE exam 2025 is a crucial entrance exam for students aiming to take admission in programs like Engineering, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Diploma in Pharmacy, Agriculture courses, and Veterinary courses across Jharkhand state, conducted once a year. The scores in the JCECE exam are considered for admission to various programs in colleges in Jharkhand.
