The Karnataka B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam syllabus is based on the Class 11 and 12 (PUC or equivalent) science curriculum, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. It evaluates conceptual understanding, analytical ability, and subject application relevant to healthcare studies.

Karnataka B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam syllabus subject-wise weightage includes, 

  • Biology: 40% and out of 180, it carries 72 marks
  • Physics: 25% and out of 180, it carries 45 marks
  • Chemistry: 25% and out of 180, it carries 45 marks
  • English: 10% and out of 180, it carries 18 marks

The Karnataka B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam is conducted through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). From the academic year 2023–24, the state government made it mandatory for candidates to qualify for KCET for B.Sc. Nursing admission to both government and private colleges across Karnataka.
