MH CET Law Registration Process

The MH CET Law admission process 2026 is centrally managed by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. It covers admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB courses in government, aided, and private law colleges across the state. Admission is conducted based on the candidate's performance in the MH CET Law exam through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Here are some important stages in the MH CET Law admission process.

1. Online Application

  • Candidates have to go to the official website of CET Cell, i.e., cetcell.mahacet.org.
  • Select the course: 5-Year LLB or 3-Year LLB.
  • Register with the candidate's basic details such as name, email, and mobile number.
  • Fill in the personal, educational, and communication details.
  • Upload a photograph and signature as per the specifications.
  • Make payment online through Debit/Credit Cards/UPI/Net Banking.

2. Downloading Admit Cards

  • Admission Cards are released for downloading around 7-10 days before the exam.
  • Log in using the specified credentials to download it.
  • Date, time, and centre details of the exam are also displayed on the cards.

3. Appear for the MH CET Law Exam 

  • The exam is held using an online mode (CBT). 
  • MCQs on the subjects of Legal Aptitude, GK, English, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics (5Yr LLB only) 

4. Result Declaration 

  • The result is declared online. 
  • The examinees can check their marks, score, percentile, and All India Rank. 
  • A merit list will be issued shortly after. 

5. Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 

  • Qualified candidates appear for the CAP rounds organised by the CET Cell. 
  • They have to:-
  1. Register for counselling,
  2. Upload and verify documents,
  3. Fill in college and course preferences, and
  4. Lock their choices before the deadline.

6. Seat Allotment & Admission 

  • The allotment of seats depends on:
  1. The CET score
  2. Preference for college
  3. Reservation category (if applicable)
  4. One can also download the provisional allotment letter.
  • Reporting to the allotted college will be for:
  1. Verification of documents,
  2. Payment of admission fees, and
  3. Final confirmation of admission.

MH CET Law Admit Card

The MHCET Law 2026 admit card serves as proof of registration for a candidate and holds crucial information such as the candidate's name, date of examination, test centre, and instructions. The admit card shall be uploaded online, and intimation regarding its availability shall be sent to the candidates by their registered e-mail ID/mobile number.

  • The admit card can be downloaded using the application number and date of birth
  • A notification for downloading will be sent to the registered email ID or mobile number
  • The admit card must be printed and carried to the examination centre
  • Check all details like name, exam centre, and instructions carefully

  • Open the official web portal of DHE Pune
  • Click the‘ MH CET Law 2026 Admit card’
  • Enter Registration Number / Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth
  • Verify all the details displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of the admit card
