NATA Application Process
The NATA application process for 2026 will be carried out in online mode through the official website www.nata.in, which includes the filling of the registration form, uploading of documents, fee payment, and admit card download. Here are the steps that you would need to follow to fill out the form.
NATA Registration
Visit the official website and click on the “New Registration” button. At the time of registration, you must enter your email ID, which shall be used as a username. After that, you will receive a link to your officially registered email ID. Then you have to choose a password of your interest. Enter the captcha on the screen and click the login button.
NATA Application Form
Candidates need to visit the portal and log in to the website using their email ID and password, and fill in all the details given below:
- Your Full name
- Parent's name
- Category
- Nationality
- Aadhar number
Thereafter, the candidate will be directed to the actual application form.
NATA Documents
Candidates would start with the registration process by filling in their personal, communication, and academic details. You must upload the scanned copy of your signature and photo in the only specified format given below in the table:

NATA Fee Submission
The fee structure for the application form is given below :

Important Note -
- The application fee shall be non-refundable in all cases.
- The candidates initially opting for single/ two tests may further opt for an additional test at a later stage, not exceeding three attempts.
How to Check NATA 2026 Registration Form Status?
You can check your application form for the NATA entrance exam by logging in to the official website. When you enter the application number and password and click on submit, your application status will be displayed on the screen.
- The empty field will be marked red, and the entire field will be marked green.
- If the payment is incomplete or pending, a message will be displayed.
- You can make the required changes and submit the final form.
How to Retrieve NATA User ID?
You can follow the given steps to retrieve your NATA User ID:
- Visit the official website of NATA.
- Look for 'NATA Candidate ID' and click on it.
- Enter required details such as 10th standard Seat Number, 10th passing year, and 10th board name in respective boxes.
- Enter the verification code, look for 'Find NATA Candidate ID,' and click on it.
- Your Candidate's ID will be displayed on the screen.
- If you do not remember the password, click on the 'Forgot Password' and answer the security question carefully.
- If you do not remember the security question, click 'Change your password.' You will receive an email to change your registered Email ID password.
National Aptitude test in Architecture
NATA Admit Card
The admit card for the NATA entrance exam has been released online by the Council of Architecture (CoA) on the official NATA website www.nata.in. All the important information regarding the admit card, such as guidelines, timings, centre address, and examination date, will be available on the admit card of the NATA exam. Candidates will have to present their NATA exam admit card at the centre along with identity proof.
Steps to Download the NATA Exam Admit Card-
- Visit the Official Website
Candidates must visit nata.in on their computer or mobile browser. - Log In to Your Account
Enter your email ID and password. Click on login. If you’ve forgotten these details, click on “Forgot application number or password” and follow the suggested steps. - Download the Admit Card
Once logged in, your admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a printout.
NATA Admit Card contains the following details. Ensure that the given information is correct.
- Candidate’s Name
- Candidate’s Roll Number
- Candidate’s Photograph and Signature
- Examination Center Address
- Date of Examination
- Time of Examination
- Examination Day Instructions
