VITEEE Eligibility

To take part in VITEEE 2026, the students should fulfil the eligibility criteria of VIT. Prior to filling the application form, it is worth checking age, educational, and category requirements. This is the full eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2026:

  • Age Limit: It is necessary that students born on or after 1st July 2023 will be able to participate in VITEEE 2026. It should contain the date of birth as he has written in the 10th class certificate.
  • Nationality: The Indian nationals, NRI, PIO, and OCI are eligible to apply.
  • Education Qualifications: The student has to have passed or be in 10+2 (or equivalent) examinations in 2026. The background should include regular full-time and formal education of candidates. NIOS students who have not less than 5 subjects also apply.
  • PCM/PCB marks: 60 percent marks in PCM/ PCB with minimum marks required by students belonging to the general category. The SC/ST student, student of J&K, Ladakh, and North-Eastern region should possess 50% in PCM/ PCB.

Admission Note: The VITEEE exam is mandatory for Indian students applying for B.Tech at VIT.

VITEEE Syllabus

The VITEEE syllabus includes questions from Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English. The number of geographical questions per subject is fixed the same 125 questions altogether. The paper will be in English only, and the entrance test is also equivalent to the subjects taught in class 12th.

VITEEE Preparation

It is also essential to know how to study rather than study hard in order to crack VITEEE. Some NCERT staples, regular mock tests, time management, and a planned revision schedule can turn you into a more successful student.

  • Take the help of 3 tier Plan: NCERT basics, reference book, and lastly mock tests and revision.
  • Write All You Know: There is no penalty marking, and therefore, it is great to take educated guesses.
  • Use a cheat sheet: Copy a few of your formulas to practice it and some core concepts to revise it.
  • This is not a repeat of the mistakes: Avoid Mock tests and tricky subjects.
  • Study smart: Learn the things the smart way, that is, study in 40/20, concentrate on the area you are weak.
  • Be routine: even toppers study daily, even when they do not have resources.
