The West Bengal Madhyamik examination is the qualifying exam for class 10th students conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). It consists of 7 compulsory subjects, including Physical Science, Mathematics, Geography, Environment, Life Sciences, and others. 

The types of questions in the paper include multiple-choice (MCQs), very short answer, short answer, and long answer questions. The exam is held offline in a written format. Total marks in the WBBSE Madhyamik exam are 800, which includes the total internal assessment marks of 80. Students must score 272 or 34% to pass this exam.
