The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has started accepting online applications for PG medical admissions for the 2025-26 academic year. The admission will be based on NEET PG 2025 scores. A total of 370 PG medical seats in government, private, and minority medical colleges are open to compete for. The application deadline is 19 November 2025.

The CENTAC admission would be under: 

  • Government Quota
  • Management Quota
  • Management Quota- Telugu Minority categories.

Who Can Apply and How the CENTAC Application Works?

The application process is online. Candidates must complete the application through the official CENTAC website. The steps are simple:

  • Register online.
  • Fill out the form and upload the required scanned documents.
  • Submit course preferences before the deadline.
  • Make the mandatory application fee payment.

Candidates are required following documents: photo, signature, birth proof, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, CRRI completion certificate, NEET PG 2025 scorecard, transfer certificate, and community/residence certificates.


Management quota needs: OBC/SC/ST certificates issued on or after 1 January 2025.

 

Candidates applying under the Telugu Minority quota: linguistic certificate.


OCI candidates must submit: OCI card and a notarised affidavit confirming no claim of dual nationality.

Counselling Process: Four Rounds, All Online

CENTAC also follows the MCC NEET Counselling pattern of 4 rounds. It will conduct four rounds of online counselling:

  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Round 3
  • Stray Vacancy Round

Each round will include:

  • Publication of the seat matrix
  • Option to submit “willingness” for participation
  • Fresh course preferences
  • Publishing allotment list 
  • Downloading of allotment order
  • Payment of tuition fees
  • Physical reporting with original documents

Seat Resignation Rules

Candidates should note that only CENTAC can issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Colleges do not hold the authority to resign or issue NOCs on their own. If a student wants to resign from the allotted seat, he or she must follow these guidelines:

  • Submit an online resignation request
  • Obtain formal permission from CENTAC
