The MCC Counselling 2026 is held for allotting 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats across India, mainly for MBBS and BDS seats. It is also conducted for allotting BSc Nursing in some institutions. The Medical Counselling Committee will conduct this counselling process in 4 major rounds - Round 1, Round 2, a mop-up round, and a stray vacancy round. The Round 1 final seat allotment results have been released, and the Round 1 institute reporting deadline is 31 August 2026 as per the revised schedule. Seat allotments will be based on the NEET results 2026 of the applicants. You must meet the NEET UG 2026 cutoff for the selected college options to be selected through the MCC NEET UG counseling process.  

MCC has renewed 1,27,028 seats and added 9,911 seats for its NEET UG 2026 counselling, which amounts to 1,36,939 NEET seats in India in total for 2026. Students must register for the counselling and apply for these seats online through the MCC official website. The registration process will include registering as a new candidate, filling out the application form, uploading scanned documents, paying the MCC NEET counselling registration fee, and locking colleges based on decreasing order of preference.
