NEET UG 2026 Paper Analysis

NEET UG 2026 was a moderate-to difficult level test based on NCERT with an equal number of easy, moderate, and difficult questions. The paper was a little bit more challenging than the NEET 2026 first attempt, and students found the exam a bit lengthy too, which could affect the trends in competition and cutoff.

The highest scoring section was Biology, where the questions were direct NCERT-based, and the questions of Chemistry were moderate and balanced. Physics was the most difficult since it had questions that were time-consuming in terms of numerical and conceptual questions. Generally, the exam was based on conceptual clarity, accuracy, and time management; therefore, it was significant that students should not take the exam based on guessing, but according to a strategic approach.
