Let us not jump to the results directly before knowing if you have registered right or not?

  • Go to the official website of MCC.
  • Choose your category either UG or PG.
  • Make sure that you have registered, paid the fee amount and locked your choices.

Step 1- Checking Your MCC Counselling Result

When the most awaited day, the result day arrives, here is how you check:

  1. Visit the official website

Because it is authentic not the sponsored or random pages.

  1. Find the link

It will be something like this

“Round 1 allotment Result

Or Round 2 or Mop Up”, depending on the Round.

  1. Click and Download the PDF

The results are in PDF not in a dashboard or anything.

  1. Search Your Roll Number

Use Ctrl + F for your system and for the mobile, just search in your browser. Your Roll Number, Allotted Institute, Quota and Course will be there.

If you found your name, then great, you should celebrate, but if you did not, do not panic. There is Round 2, Mop Up and Stray Vacant Round. It is not over until it is over.

Step 2- Downloading Your Allotment Letter

This is the barb. Now it is official because it is the document colleges ask to take you in, if you do not have it, colleges are not going to accept you, it is as simple as that.

  1. Head Back to MCC Website

Go to the official website and choose the Counselling Page.

  1. Click on “Candidate Login”

Usually, you will find it in the top right corner. Now, enter your

  • Roll Number
  • Password
  • Security Pin

  1. You Will Get The Dashboard

If you are awarded a seat you will see the “Download Allotment Letter” button.

  1. Click and Save

Download the PDF and to keep it safe do not forget to print multiple copies. Because losing it can land you in big trouble.

What is an Allotment Letter and Why is it of Utmost Importance?

This paper is more important than your 12th marksheet right now. It is your ticket.

It contains:

  • Your Name
  • Your Roll Number
  • Allotted Institute
  • Reporting Time and Date
  • Category/ Sub-category
  • Course (MBBS/BDS)
  • Instruction for Reporting
  • Documents Required

And it needs to be reinstated that you must keep everything ready,  already.

What After the Download?

Start packing because now it is time to report to your allotted college.

Here is your to-do list:

  • Report physically to the college within the given time frame which usually is 5-7 days.
  • Carry originals and a few copies of
  • Allotment Letter
  • NEET Scorecard
  • Admit Card
  • 10th and 12th Marksheet
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Pw D Certificate (if applicable)
  • Identity Proof
  • Passport Size Photos
  • Provisional Registration Slip

Deadline is the all in all

If you do not report to your allotted college, the seat is gone. No excuses, no extensions. You will be completely out of the process and have to wait for the second round. But sometimes, you will not be even eligible for Round 2 if you are already allotted the college but did not report.

What If You Do Not Get Any Seat?

Do not stress, because there is more, the Round 2, Mop Up, Stray Vacant

Look at the structure again

Round 1- Done

Round 2-  New Registration for those candidates who did not get anything or did not report to allotted college.

Mop Up- For Deemed and Central Universities mainly

Stray Vacant Round- Direct college level and now there will be no new registrations on MCC.

Each round comes with its own dates and process so be up to date and check the MCC Website on a regular basis.

Bonus Tips:

You are advised to keep these few things in your mind because even if you make one mistake, it is all in vain.

  • Always keep screenshots, as a proof.
  • Double check your details before locking them.
  • Always refer to the information on an official website only, not social media or rumors.
  • Official PDF is of paramount importance.
  • If you are stuck somewhere or get confused, call MCC Helpline.

The process may seem like a Greek to you but it is quite methodical.

Check the result, download the allotment letter, report to college and it is all done. Still your every step matters, one small error can eventualize in a big mess.

So go slow, keep it together and check the official website like everything depends on it and yes actually it does. You have made it this far, and that's no small thing. It is the moment where your dreams turn into admissions. You have come too far to fumble now.

Do not forget the smile when you step into the campus that you have set your heart on.
