The MCC NEET 2025 counselling dates will be declared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) tentatively by the fourth week of July 2025, or by the first week of August 2025. In general, the MCC NEET Counselling dates are declared a month after the declaration of the NEET result. The MCC NEET 2025 counseling dates will be scheduled for around four months. The entire MCC NEET counselling 2025 is likely to conclude by November 2025. However, the dates of MCC NEET Counseling 2025 may extend depending on vacant seats.

The NEET 2025 exam proceeded on 4th May, 2025, and the NEET 2025 result was announced by 14th June, 2025. As per, the MCC NEET 2025 counselling process will be proceeded from August 2025 or July 2025 onwards. NTA will send the list of qualifying applicants to MCC. However, only those who will fulfill the eligibility criteria for NEET counseling and register for the MCC NEET counselling method will be able to attend.

MCC is the conducting authority for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. All candidates who will qualify seats depending on their rank in the NEET UG result, except those from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, were eligible for the MCC NEET counselling method. The seats that will remain unfilled after all the rounds of NEET counselling at All India Quota will be served to the significant states for the state-level counselling methods. 

The admission to MBBS, B. Sc. Nursing, and BDS colleges for the seats reserved under the All India Quota/ domicile/ institutional quota of central universities and MBBS colleges. These are (Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi/ University of Delhi/ Banaras Hindu University/Aligarh Muslim University), Armed Forces Medical College Pune and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) proceeds through the MCC counselling.

MCC Counselling Round 1: Eligibility Criteria

To attend the MCC counseling Round 1 in 2025, students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

●     You must qualify for the NEET.

●     You should also be registered on the MCC website.

●     Students must have qualified for the 10+2 standard or its similar exam with PCB from an approved board.

●     Eligible students from J&K also apply for 15% AIQ seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Central Universities

Applicants who have qualified class 11 and class 12 from a college located in Delhi will be able to apply for those 85% seats.

Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia

The college serves 50 BDS seats, out of which 47 seats will be filled through the MCC NEET Counseling. The remaining three seats fall under the institutional quota. 

The institutional quota seats will be allotted to only those applicants who have qualified class 11 and 12 from JMI institutes. 

Aligarh Muslim University

The institute reserves 50 percent of its seats. The remaining 50 percent will be filled through the MCC counselling of NEET. 

Applicants who have pursued at AMU for the last three years can opt for institutional quota. 

Banaras Hindu University

15% seats

All applicants who fulfill the basic eligibility criteria for NEET MCC counseling can apply for the seats at BHU. There is no special requirement for applying to this college.

MCC Counselling Round 1 Process

Eligible students who wish to apply for MCC Counselling Round 1 2025 must register online on the official website of MCC. The MCC 1st round counseling method can be checked ahead:

●     Step 1: Students are required to register for NEET counseling online at MCC's official website. Students must fill out important details like names, roll numbers, date of birth, mother's name, and registration number and pay the registration fee.

●     Step 2: Once registration is completed, students should enter and lock their preference of college and course from the list. The registered students are required to log in by using their registration credentials. Click on the choice filling option and submit as many preferences before the scheduled date and time. Once choices are locked, they cannot be changed or modified.

●     Step 3: The MCC published the NEET 2025 counseling 1st Round scorecard for all the registered students. The authority publishes the provisional NEET UG seat allotment first and students will be enabled to submit objections if any. The MCC Counselling Round 1 result pdf is published. The seat allotment list contains the details of the student, NEET mark and allotted course and college.

●     Step 4: Applicants who are allocated BDS/MBBS seats should report to the designated college for verification of seat confirmation and documents. Students must present the original documents to the assigned college and finish the admission norms. However, the seats left vacant after the first round of NEET UG counseling will be carried forward to Round 2.

How to Convert Nationality From Indian To NRI

Before every round of NEET counselling 2025, MCC will serve the option to convert the nationality from Indian to NRI. The method of applicants’ nationality conversion and the conditions matched to it are served ahead:

Applicants willing to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI has to send the filled up from along with requisite documents to the email id ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com.

The following documents have to be updated in the email in the following order:

  • Documents claiming that sponsored is an NRI (Passport, visa of the sponsor).
  • Relationship of NRI with the applicant.
  • Affidavit from the sponsor that he/she will sponsor the whole course fee of the applicant duly notarised.
  • Embassy certificate of the sponsor (Certificate from the consulate).
  • NEET score card of the applicant. 

Conditions Levied by MCC for Applicants Willing to Convert Nationality to NRI

MCC has laid down the following conditions for applicants who are willing to change nationality to NRI:

  • Applicants must have appeared and qualified for NEET 2025.
  • Once the category is changed, applicants cannot avail of the benefit under the Muslim Minority quota/Jain Minority Quota/ST/SC/OBC/EWS or any other quota.
  • The conversion of the Nationality of applicants from ‘Indian’ to ‘NRI’ is ‘Provisional’ depending on the documents submitted by the applicants which will be verified by the allotted college authorities at the time of reporting.
