The JEE Main session 2 registration has begun officially from 1 January 2026. The JEE Main session 2 registration link is now active for the 2026 JEE Main April attempt. Candidates who wish to appear in JEE Main April session can apply now. The last day to register is 25 February 2026.

The Joint Entrance Examination Main 2026 is one of India's most important National-level engineering exams conducted by the National Testing Agency. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be conducted in April. JEE Main 2026 April session dates are between 2 April and 9 April.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration: Application Process

The NTA has made some changes in the JEE Main April attempt registration this year, including Live photo Capture and e-KYC. 

Note: Aadhar e-KYC and live photo capture are mandatory during the form-filling process. 

The candidates must follow the steps given below to fill in the JEE Session 2 registration application: 

• Visit the official website 
• Click on Registration and create I’d and a password as per NTA guidelines
• Get the application number after registration and login using credentials 
• Fill in the details and upload the mandatory documents 
• Capture a live photo and upload documents, including a photo, signature, and certificates. 
• Pay the application fee and submit the form 
• Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the JEE Mains April 2026 application form.
