NTA has officially released the NEET UG syllabus 2026 for the academic session 2026-27. The authority has urged all stakeholders, including students, teachers, and coaching institutes, to follow the updated syllabus for exam strategies.

The exam body said that the NMC has finalised the syllabus so that uniformity in undergraduate medical admissions can be maintained.

As per the official notification, β€œThe syllabus for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test has been finalised by the Under Graduate Medical Education Board, National Medical Commission,”

NEET UG 2026 Syllabus Remains Unchanged

The NEET UG syllabus has not witnessed any change. It is the same as the previous year. The core structure of the curriculum remains intact. The curriculum will be based on Class 11 and 12 topics NCERT.

NEET UG 2026 Exam Likely in May

We are still waiting for the NEET UG 2026 exam date. NTA has not officially released any timetable for the commencement of NEET UG exam. But, as previous years suggest, the exam is usually held on the first Sunday of May. Students should be ready for NEET UG 2026 Application Process.

NTA Issues Aadhaar and Document Advisory for NEET UG 2026

NTA has also issued an advisory on 5 January 2026. The advisory asked students to ensure that their:

  • UDID card (for PwD candidates)
  • category certificates
