Punjab NEET counselling 2025: Counselling Process
Round 1
Step 1-
- Head over to the official website.
- Click on the link for Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2025
Step 2-
- Register using your NEET Roll Number and Application Number.
Step 3-
- Pay the registration fee online (non-refundable)
- ₹5,900 for General category
- ₹2,950 for SC category
Step 4-
- Upload your documents. Keep them scanned and ready in the prescribed format. No blurry images will do.
Step 5-
Time to choose your colleges-
- Fill in your preferred choices
- Lock them before the deadline because you can not make changes after that.
Step 6-
- Soon BFUHS will release a Provisional Merit List of all registered candidates.
Round 2
- Once the first round is done and dusted, now you can seal the deal or go for an upgrade.
- BFUHS will release Seat Allotment list based on the NEET 2025 Rank, category and choice filled.
- If you have got a seat, download your Provisional Allotment Letter from the portal.
- Now you need to report to your allotted college within the given deadline.
- Now comes the document verification. Students must bring their original documents and get them verified.
- Finally the payment of tuition fees. It is done online. Once you credit the amount, the seat is officially confirmed.
In case of Upgradation
- You must participate again, which means you need to submit a fresh list of preferred colleges.
- Your previous allotted seat will stay safe until you are awarded a new one. If you get an upgrade, the seat will be automatically canceled.
Mop-Up Round
- If you still get no seat or you are just aiming higher for a better one, then Mop up is your last chance.
- It is conducted only for seats left vacant after Round 2 which includes seats not confirmed, not reported for, or newly added.
- Fresh registration may be allowed. If you missed the earlier rounds, you might still get a chance here. BFUHS confirm this officially.
- You need to re-enter your college choices. Everyone has to submit choices again, even if you participated before in earlier rounds.
- Allotment is the Final Call now which means if you get a seat in Mop-Up then you must take it. No second chances will be given if you skip admission. You’ll be debarred from subsequent rounds.
- NRI & Management Quota Seats
- These are also filled during the Mop-Up Round so if you’re applying under categories, this is your final window.
- There are no upgrades or reshuffling after Mop-Up. You can either take the seat or lose your shot.
Stray Vacancy Round
- This will be only for Private Colleges and Government ones are not part of this round.
- No fresh registrations allowed, only candidates who already registered with BFUHS earlier can participate.
- Colleges prepare their own merit list based on NEET 2025 scores. So it is more like institution-level counselling.
- Direct reporting is required in this. You will have to physically visit the college if shortlisted. It's totally face-to-face without any online process here.
