AISSEE 2026 Registration Process

The registration process for AISSEE 2026 has already been completed, and the exam is scheduled to be held on 18 January 2026. Students who have registered must now focus on appearing for the written exam, followed by the medical test and document verification. The full admission process is explained step by step below:

  1. Notification Released
    The notification was released officially by NTA on their website. It contained all relevant information on dates, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, and steps for applying.
  2. Application Completed Online
    Students have already registered on the official NTA AISSEE website, submitted personal and academic details, uploaded scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and other required documents, and completed the online application fee payment.
  3. Download Admit Card
    AISSEE 2026 Admit cards are now available for download online. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre on 18 January 2026.
  4. Written Examination
    • Mode of Examination: Offline (Pen and Paper)
    • For Class 6: Mathematics, Language, Intelligence, and General Knowledge
    • For Class 9: Mathematics, English, Intelligence, General Science, and Social Studies
    • The test consists of multiple-choice questions on OMR sheets.
  5. Result Declaration
    The results will be declared on the official NTA website. Merit lists will be prepared based on candidates’ performance in the written examination.
  6. Medical Examination
    Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination at military or government hospitals. They must meet the physical and medical standards prescribed by the Sainik Schools.
  7. Final Merit List
    The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the written and medical tests. The admission list will then be published.
  8. Document Verification & Admission
    All selected candidates must appear physically for document verification to secure their admission seat.

AISSEE 2026 Admit Card

The AISSEE 2026 admit card is required to enter the exam hall. NTA will issue it only to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have completed the application process correctly. Below are some important instructions and guidelines for the admit card:

  1. Download Method
    Candidates must download the admit card using their Application Number and Date of Birth.
  2. Examination Instructions
    Candidates must appear only at the exam centre, date, and time mentioned on the admit card.
  3. Help for Download Issues
    If unable to download, contact the NTA Help Line (10:00 AM–5:00 PM).
  4. Discrepancy in Admit Card
    If there are errors in the photo, signature, or other details, report them to the Help Line. Candidates can still appear with the existing admit card while NTA processes corrections.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre.
  • No duplicate admit card will be issued at the centre.
  • Do not mutilate or alter any entry on the admit card.
  • Preserve it carefully for future reference.
  • Admit cards will not be issued for incomplete or ineligible applications.
