Preparation Guide for AISSEE 2026

One must have a proper strategy for AISSEE preparation since it forms a balance between knowledge and aptitude. Since the syllabus is quite vast and the competition is stiff, students should start early and invest time in practising the exam pattern and maintaining discipline. Entrance exams for Class 6 and Class 9 will see success only through consistent practice, good time management, and proper revision.

  • Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Know your subjects, topics, and mark distribution for your assigned class (6 or 9).
  • Make a Time Table for Studies
Plan a daily routine where time is allocated for each subject, but more weightage is given to weak areas.
  • Prepare With NCERT Books and Sainik School Guides
Start preparing with NCERT textbooks and use AISSEE-specific books for practice.
  • Solving Last-Year Papers
Try and solve previous year's question papers to familiarise yourself with the types of questions and their difficulty level.
  • Attend Mock Tests
Give as many mock tests to work on speed, accuracy, and time management as possible.
  • Revision Through Notes and Flashcards
Prepare short notes and flashcards to revise formulas and facts quickly.
  • Stay Updated with Current Affairs\
For Class 9, follow basic current events, especially related to India.
  • Stay Physically Fit
Since medical fitness is required after the written test, maintain good health and fitness.
