Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Criteria | Details |
NEET UG 2026 (MBBS) | 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board. Minimum 50% marks (General/EWS), 40% (SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Age: 17+ years by December 31, 2026. No upper age limit. |
INI CET 2026 (PG) | MBBS degree with 12-month internship completed by July 2026. Minimum 55% marks (General/EWS), 50% (SC/ST). |
Final Year Candidates | Eligible to apply, but must provide proof of passing with required marks at admission. |
International Candidates | Must obtain an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). |

Preparation Guide for JIPMER 2026
Preparation Note: NEET UG 2026 (200 questions, 720 marks, 200 minutes) is based on Class 11–12 NCERT curricula. INI CET 2026 (200 questions, 180 minutes) includes advanced medical topics and reasoning. Focus on NCERT for NEET UG, supplemented by standard medical texts for INI CET. Practice past papers (2018–2024) from nta.ac.in and aiimsexams.ac.in. Official details will be in the March 2026 notification on jipmer.edu.in.
