• NExT 2026 exam has been delayed for the next two years. The exam is now expected to be conducted in 2028 - 2029.
• This year the NMC will not announce the NExT 2026 exam date. The exam for NExT will be organized by National Medical Commission (NMC).

NExT 2025 candidates who will appear for the examination must complete a process of two steps of registration process: Basic Registration and Application Form Submission. It would include uploading some documents, entering academic and internship details, and choosing the exam centre. Also, a special Exam Code (EUC) is generated along with the registration, which is used in all subsequent steps.

The entire process is given in the table below.

1. Registration

• Enter personal details (name, contact info, etc.).
• Upload required documents: Recent passport-size photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, etc.

2. Registration Outcome

• Receive the Registration ID and Password on your registered email.
• The Exam Unique Code (EUC) is generated for further steps.

3. Filling the Application Form

• Log in using the received credentials.
• Complete the application with: Academic qualifications, Internship details, Exam centre preference, and upload any additional required documents.

National Exit Test (NExT) 2025 has been conducted in two stages—Step 1 (Theory Exam) and Step 2 (Practical/Clinical Exam). The important dates given below mark the key events, such as registration, admit card release, exam dates, result declaration, and PG counselling.

The NEXT Admit Card 2025 will be issued to candidates who complete the registration and payment process successfully. The key details are:

• Admit cards will be available online through the official NExT website only.
• Candidates must download the admit card using their Registration ID and Password.
• No admit cards will be sent through email/post.

The admit card will consist of:

• Candidate name and photograph
• Roll number
• Exam centre name and address
• Date and time of examination
