Overview
National Exit Test (NExT) 2025 is to be conducted in two stages—Step 1 (Theory Exam) and Step 2 (Practical/Clinical Exam). NExT-1 is simultaneously the final MBBS and PG entrance examination, while NExT-2 is the practical qualifying examination held after the internship.

NExT-1: Centralised Theory Exam
- Duration: 180 minutes each day
- Marking Pattern: Negative Marking (Minus 1 mark for incorrect answer)
- Exam Pattern: All questions are single-response MCQs
