The final allotment result was declared when the verification window closed on 22 November. This final result followed the provisional result declaration on 21 November. 26,889 candidates have been allotted a seat in the first round of MCC NEET PG. This number includes 466 NRI students.
The centralised counselling has seen multiple updates in 2025-26 AY. The delays are due to the NEET PG Counselling SC hearing and earlier Revisions in the NEET PG seat Matrix.

The number of shortlisted candidates as per MCC is 26,889. They have been shortlisted in the final Round 1 list for NEET PG Counselling 2025. This list is for both aspirants for medical and dental postgraduate courses. Let’s cut straight to the stats that define this year’s race

Discrepancy Reporting Closed on 22 Nov

Once the objections were resolved, MCC released a final allotment result. After the grievances window closes, the provisional list is treated as final.

Candidates who got seats in the result need to report to their allotted colleges. The dates for reporting are 23 November to 1 December 2025. Reporting contains:
