The SNAP 2025 (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) exam is expected to be held on December 8, 15, and 21, 2025, in online mode across multiple cities in India. The exam notification is expected to be released in the first week of August, 2025, and will go on till the last week of November, 2025. The SNAP admit card will be released in December 2025 for all three sessions separately. The colleges accepting SNAP scores include SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIIB Pune, SIIMC, SICSR, SIOM, SIHS, and many others.

Every year, around 60,000 - 1,00,000 students appear for the exam to get admission in MBA/PGDM programs. In 2024, approximately 1.4 lakh students appeared for the exam, and the overall difficulty level of the exam was considered easy to moderate. The cutoff for SIBM Pune was around the 97-98 percentile, and for other institutes, 70-85 percentile.

What is the SNAP exam?

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. It facilitates admission in MBA/PGDM programs across India, conducted once a year, with three attempts. The SNAP 2025 syllabus includes General English, Analytical and logical reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, and data sufficiency. The SNAP exam pattern includes 60 questions with a total of 60 marks, which have to be solved in 60 minutes. The mode of the exam is a Computer-based test, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer and +1 mark for each correct answer.

SNAP 2025 Application Process

The SNAP 2025 application process will be online. The candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements have to submit the application form along with the required documents. • Visit the official SNAP exam website www.snaptest.org by clicking on the Apply for Symbiosis MBA through SNAP 2025 link and fill in personal details, exam details, including test dates and cities.
• Generate the login ID and password for future access to the portal.
• Fill in the academic details such as Class 20th, 12th, and graduation details, and upload your recent passport-sized photo 
• Complete the registration fee payment of ₹ 2,250 via credit card/debit card or net banking.
• Choose the SIU college and the course of their choice, and pay ₹ 1000 per course/college.
• Review your application carefully and click the “Submit” option to complete the registration and take a printout of the confirmation page and payment receipt.

SNAP 2025 Application Fees

To complete the registration process, students are required to pay a certain amount of registration fees. The candidates have to register and fill in the personal and academic details with document uploads and pay the application fee. The fee of ₹ 2,250 for the SNAP registration is required to pay, with the additional fee payment of ₹ 1000 for each college and course selection. 

SNAP 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students are required to fulfil the SNAP 2025 eligibility criteria to participate in the exam. Students must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university. Refer to the points below to check the eligibility criteria for the SNAP exam.

• Educational qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) from a recognised university or institution.
• Marks required: Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in graduation, 45% marks for the reserved category.
• Final year students: Final year students of graduation are also eligible to apply.
• Age criteria: No age limit to appear for the SNAP exam.
• International students: International students can also apply, but must obtain an equivalency certificate from the Association of India Universities (AIU).

SNAP 2025 Exam Pattern

The SNAP 2025 exam pattern generally contains three sections, which are conducted online, that is Computer-based test. The exam consists of 60 questions, and the duration of the exam will be 60 minutes. Each right answer carries 1 mark, and a 0.25 mark deduction is applicable for each wrong answer.

Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code

The SNAP exam 2025 is one of the most important entrance exams for the MBA course. The candidate must know what to carry or avoid on the exam day. The guidelines are mentioned on the admit card to avoid any confusion. 

Things to Avoid During the Exam

The students need to avoid carrying certain things on the SNAP exam day, which will lead to a conflict. The things which should be avoided include mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, cameras, or any other valuables.

SNAP 2025 Answer key

The SNAP 2025 answer key will be released about a week after the exam is conducted. The SNAP answer key will be released on the official website of SNAP. Candidate can download the answer key by entering their login credentials. 

SNAP 2025 Result

The SNAP 2025 result will be declared in the first week of January 2026 by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download the result from the SNAP official website www.snaptest.org. The qualified students are eligible to take admission in MBA/PGDM programmes. The candidates can check the result and download the scorecard by entering the SNAP ID and password. 

SNAP 2025 Counselling

The SNAP 2025 counselling process will begin after the SNAP cutoff declaration. The SNAP counselling includes its own admission process, such as shortlisting, GE-PI (Group Exercise and Personal Interaction), and final selection. Group Exercise

The Group Exercise is the first stage of the selection process after the SNAP exam results. This round assesses a candidate’s skills, team behaviour, and problem-solving skills.

• In this round, 7-8 candidates are placed in a group.
• Each group will be given a topic to discuss for 15-20 minutes and present the solution.
• The topic will be based on Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Personal Interaction

The Personal Interaction is a face-to-face interaction round to assess a candidate’s personality, academic background, and goals. 

• The shortlisted candidates from the GE phase will be invited for the personal interaction round.
• The question range from ‘why MBA’ to future plans.

Writing Ability Test

The writing ability test is the final round in the counselling process to assess the candidate’s writing skills.

• The candidate is given a topic and asked to write a short passage.
• They will be required to write on the topic for 5-10 minutes in 100-200 words.

SNAP Merit List and Parameters 

The Final merit list depends on the performance of the candidates in each selection phase. Candidates are marked in each round, and a score is assigned to them. The SNAP 2025 cutoff will be released by SIU after the SNAP results.  After the exam declaration, Symbiosis colleges will start releasing their SNAP cut-off percentile. The SNAP result is expected to be released in the first week of January, 2026. The expected cutoff for admission in SIBM Pune is likely to be 96 percentile.
