Students are required to fulfill the SNAP 2025 eligibility criteria to participate in the exam.  To be eligible for the exam, students must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.

Educational qualification

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) from a recognised university or institution.

Minimum marks required

  • General category: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.
  • SC/ST/PWD category: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in graduation.

final-year students

Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are eligible to apply; they can show proof of passing the degree with the required marks at the time of admission.

Age criteria

There is no upper age limit to appear for the SNAP exam; anyone who fulfils the academic requirements can apply.

International students

International students can also apply, but they must obtain an equivalency certificate from the Association of India Universities (AIU).

Syllabus

The SNAP 2025 syllabus is the first step toward preparation. The SNAP syllabus is divided into three verticals, including English, Reasoning ability, and Quantitative aptitude. It does not have a fixed syllabus, but based on previous years, the major questions are mostly from these areas. Refer to the table below for all the details of the SNAP syllabus.

Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks), Grammar (Sentence correction, Usage errors), Reading comprehension, One word substitution, Syllogisms, Idioms & phrases, Para jumble, and sentence rearrangement, Active/passive voice, analogies, etc.

Reasoning ability

Blood relations, Coding-decoding Series (Number/letter), Puzzles, Logical sequences, Statement & conclusion, Directions, Critical reasoning, Pie chart, etc.

Quantitative aptitude

Algebra, Mensuration, Geometry, Percentage, Profit & loss, Time-speed distance, Time & work, Ratio & proportion, Simple & compound Interest, Data Interpretation, Partnership, etc.

The SNAP exam 2025 is a crucial entrance exam for students aiming to take admission in MBA/PGDM programs across India. The scores in the SNAP exam are considered for admission to various management programs in colleges in India.
