WBJEE 2026 Application Process: Dates, Fees, Documents & Admit Card Details

The WBJEE application process starts between the third and fourth week of December, and it continues for almost a month. Registration is to be done on the official site- wbjeeb.nic.in in online mode. The application window is declared through the official announcement, and it is time-limited. Any submission past the deadline will be automatically denied, and late submissions will not be made. 

Step 1 - Registration and form filling

Candidates must follow the process below for registration.

• Candidates have to initially enroll themselves with a valid email ID and mobile number. 
• Students have to complete the online application form by filling in the academic and personal details, along with a signature. 
• Original passport-size photographs and full signatures must be taken within the past six months and have to be scanned and sent as a photo and a document in the required format. 
• Photos should be of the JPEG/JPG format, 10 to 200 KB, light background. The signature should be between 4-30 kb, written on white paper using black ink. Low-quality images, wrong format, or file size lead to the failure of uploading. 

Step 2: Application Fee and Payment Modes

The application fees are different for domiciles and non-domiciles. Read below to know about WBJEE application fees and payment modes.

• WBJEE application fee is ₹500 in the General category and ₹400 in SC, ST, and OBC categories. 
• Payments can be made online only via net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI. There is no refund after processing of a transaction.
• In case the application fees are not paid, the application status is recorded as incomplete. 

Correction Window

The time frame for the correction window is normally 2 to 3 days after the application deadline. It is available for specific corrections only.

Confirmation and Ending Submission

The confirmation page is presented by the system after a successful payment of the form and fee. 

The 2026 application process of the WBJEE 2026 is likely to start in the last week of December 2025 and the exam is anticipated to be conducted in the last week of April 2026. The applicants can refer to the provisional time table of WBJEE 2026 as given below:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 Admit Card will be issued by the Board of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEEB) 10 to 14 days prior to the exam date. The admit card is a document required of candidates to bring along to the examination center to be allowed in.

Candidates shall be in a position to download their admit card by logging in to the official website, providing their application number and password or date of birth.

• Name, roll number, and photo of the candidate

• Tips about the exam day

WBJEE: Important Points

• It is obligatory for candidates to verify all information on the admit card. Where there is any variance, they are to inform the WBJEEB authorities forthwith to be corrected.
• Minimum to carry to the exam center is a printed copy of the admit card and any valid photo identity document (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or School/College ID).
• The examiner will not be granted entry in an examination hall without the admit card.
• It is recommended to preserve the admit card even after the exam because it may be needed during the counseling and admission procedures.
