Exam Pattern
WBJEE 2025 is conducted in offline mode with two papers: Mathematics (Paper I) and Physics and Chemistry (Paper II).
There are three types of questions:
- Category I (single correct answer)
- Category II (one correct answer with higher weightage)
- Category III (numerical answer type)
Negative marking applies in Categories I and II. Each paper is to be completed in two hours. Engineering-inclined students have to take both sections, but students planning on studying drug manufacturing only have to write Paper II. Read below to know about the WBJEE exam pattern in detail.
