The overall NEET 2024 question paper was of a moderate to challenging level, with Physics and Chemistry being the most challenging. The belief that botany was the toughest was that it was both concept-based and analytic, as the questions it requires are, whereas Zoology was not. The paper was designed in the format of a reformative test at the National Testing Agency and also required materials of Section A (35 compulsory questions) and Section B (15 questions, 10 of which are answerable) in every subject.

This test had 200 questions, and 180 marks were supposed to be attempted in the 200 questions, which totaled 720 marks. And 4 marks in cases of right response, 1 mark deducted in case of wrong response. Biology ( Botany + Zoology) was considered the most scoring part since it contained a weightage of nearly 50%.

NEET 2024 Question Paper Structure

There are 200 questions in the NEET 2024 exam, of which 180 will have to be answered. All correct answers are marked 4 and negative marked and the amount will be added up to 720 within 3 hours.

From each section, 45 questions will be asked, but biology is further divided into two parts namely Botany and Zoology, which amounts to a total of 360 marks.
