Eligibility Aspect

Academic Qualification

Must have passed Class 9 from a recognized board 

Studying Class 10 in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Attendance

Minimum 75% attendance mandatory in Class 10 during the academic year 2025-26.

Age Limit

No official minimum age limit, but typically candidates are 14-16 years old based on state norms.

Nationality

• Indian nationals
• NRIs,
• Foreign nationals

Registration

Must register for exams through school on the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal with valid documents.

Documents Required

• Birth certificate
• Class 9 mark sheet
• School ID
• Admission proof
• Photographs

Private/Repeat Candidates

Allowed with specific eligibility for failed, repeat, compartment, and improvement category candidates.

Exam System

• Two examination system: 
• First exam is compulsory
• Second exam (May 2026) is for improvement if desired

Practical/Internal Assessments

• Conducted once annually
• Marks included in final results
• Practical exams held before theory exams
