Foreign Medical Graduates Examination

Overview

FMGE June 2026 was conducted on June 28, 2026, and the FMGE June Results were declared on 7th July 2026. Students can download their scorecard from the official website on 16th July 2026. For better preparation and to understand the exam pattern and difficulty level for FMGE December 2026, students are advised to check all the past-year question papers and cutoff trends. The passing percentage of FMGE June 2026 is 12.4%; out of 37,448 candidates, only 5,086 candidates were able to qualify. The passing percentage has decreased from the past few attempts, as it was 23.95% in the December 2025 attempt and 18% in the June 2025 attempt. So students have to understand the statistics too, to get a better view of exam difficulty. Check the Past Question papers from 2020 to 2025 available for download in this blog.

By solving FMGE previous-year question papers, candidates will be able to get an idea of the pattern, weightage, frequently asked topics and overall difficulty level of the exam. They also help to make good use of time and to pinpoint key ideas to revise.

FMGE June 2026 appeared in 12.4% of students. The exam was one of the toughest FMGE exams in recent years as only 5,086 appeared for the exam and passed out of 37,448 candidates.

Apart from previous year question papers, standard textbooks, subject-wise MCQ practice, mock papers and regular revision are important resources for preparation of FMGE as it gives you the best chance to qualify.

There is a need to practice at least last 5–6 years of FMGE question papers (2020 – 2025). This can aid in the recognition of recurring themes, assess the difficulty of the questions, and enhance exam strategies.
