GATE 2026 Registration (Closed) - Application Form Correction (Reopened), Link, How to Fill Application Form, Fees

Students planning to appear for GATE 2026 Exam must be aware of the GATE 2026 registration process. The GATE 2026 Application Procedure will be conducted online through GOAPS portal. Once the application form is released, candidates fulfilling the GATE 2026 Eligibility must register through the GATE 2026 Registration Link.

Data Required for Filling the Application Form The following data will be required while filling the online application form 

• Personal details (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, name and mobile number of parent or guardian, etc.). 
• The name of the candidate in the application form must be exactly the same as that in the valid photo ID, which the candidate must produce in original while appearing for GATE 2026 examination at the centre. 
• Candidates are advised to ensure that the date of birth provided in the application form matches exactly with that mentioned in the photo ID. 
• GATE 2026 scorecard will be issued as per the name entered in the application form. Prefixes/titles such as Mr./Shri/Dr./Mrs./Smt./Prof./Capt./Maj./Lt./Col., etc. must not be used before the name. 
• Address for communication including PIN code 
• Details of the Eligibility degree  
• Institute/College name and address (where the candidate is studying or have graduated from) with PIN code 
• Choice of GATE test paper(s) 
• Choice(s) of GATE examination cities 
• Good quality image of the candidate’s photograph conforming to the specifications as given in Section 6.7  
• Good quality image of the candidate’s signature conforming to the specifications as given in Section 6.7   
• Scanned copy of valid photo Identity Document (ID) (The same ID, in original, MUST be produced while appearing for GATE 2026) 
• Scanned copy of the Category (SC/ST) certificate, if applicable, in PDF format 
• Scanned copy of UDID (preferred)/PwD Certificate, if applicable, in PDF format 
• Scanned copy of Dyslexic Certificate, if applicable, in PDF format 
• Net-banking/debit card/credit card/UPI/wallet details for fee payment
