The KCET 2026 exam was conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026, as per the schedule. KCET Language Exam will be conducted on April 22, 2026. The exam is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority in pen-and-paper mode only, and it contains 4 subjects: Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in multiple-choice format. The KCET exam has no negative marking for incorrect answers and a +1 mark for each correct answer.

KCET Exam Pattern 2026
The KCET 2026 exam pattern generally contains three sections, which are conducted offline, that is, pen-and-paper mode. The exam consists of 180 questions, and the duration of the exam will be 80 minutes per session. Each right answer carries 1 mark, and no negative mark deduction is applicable for a wrong answer. KCET Exam marks distribution is equal for each section. This exam consists of 3 sections, which include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics of 60 questions from each section. There is no negative and +1 mark for each right answer.
