Auto-Verification Using SATS & RD Numbers

  • Reservation details will be verified with RD number (Caste, Caste & Income, Kalyana Karnataka, NCLC)

Candidates Who Cannot Print Application First

Candidates who claim these will not get the full application print at first: 

  • Kannada Medium
  • Rural
  • Linguistic Minority (Tulu/Tamil/Telugu/Kodava)
  • Religious Minority (Muslim/Christian) reservations

Claim Slip for a Few Candidates

Only the Claim Slip can be downloaded, showing status: Claimed & Verified 

  • Claimed but Not Verified

Document Verification at Colleges

Verification at the current college or a Government college to enable application printing

Other Eligibility Clauses (B–O)

Candidates must verify documents at KEA

Candidates Eligible for Direct Application Print

Candidates with:

  • 7-year study details verified under eligibility clause (a)

No Physical Verification Required (Clause-A)

No need to visit KEA or colleges for verification

Verification slip can be downloaded after results.

Internal Reservation for SC Candidates

SC candidates must obtain:

  • Scheduled Caste certificate with internal reservation
  • Enter the RD number in the application

Aadhaar Name Verification Mandatory

Candidate name must match in 

  • SSLC marks card
  • Aadhaar card
  • Caste/caste-income certificates

Ans: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is the competent authority for the successful conduction of KCET exam 2026. This is the state-level examination conducted across Karnataka. 


Ques: Is KCET UGCET exam 2026 offline?

Ans: Yes. KEA conducts the exam in the offline mode. OMR sheet will be given and the questions will be in multiple-choice format. You will have to choose one correct option among all 4 options. The answer can not be changed once filled in the OMR sheet.
