What is the MHT CET Exam?

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as MHT CET, is a state-level entrance test to select applicants for admission to UG engineering and pharmacy courses at different colleges throughout Maharashtra. MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025

As per the exam pattern of MHT CET, the question paper will be set with 20% weightage to class 11 topics and 80% weightage to class 12 topics. The exam will be held online as a computer-based test and will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be 3 question papers,

• Paper 1 of Mathematics - Total 50 questions. A total of 10 questions from the class 11 syllabus and 40 questions from the class 12 syllabus. Every question will be of 2 marks. The total duration of the paper will be 90 minutes. No negative marking.
• Paper 2 of Chemistry and Physics - Total 100 questions. The physics part will have 50 questions and the rest 50 from Chemistry.
