Maharashtra Health Sciences and Technical Common Entrance Test
Overview
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, announced the Tentative MHT CET Exam Schedule for the April and May 2026 sessions. For the first time, the timetable outlines a two-session format for PCB and PCM group students. This provides the flexibility to appear in both exams and improve the scores for students.
The engineering and pharmacy entrance exam of Session 1 will be held on these dates:
- The PCM group examination will take place between 11 to 19 April.
- April 22 to 26 will witness the commencement of the PCB group exams.
The engineering and pharmacy entrance exam of Session 2 will be held on these dates:
- PCB Group: May 10 to May 11, 2026
- PCM Group: May 14 to May 17, 2026
The MHT CET Exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts. Morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and Afternoon (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM). The final datesheet will be released shortly by the authorities. This early release of the expected timetable facilitates students with ample time for their preparations.

MHT CET Application Process has commenced. The registration will continue till 12 February 2026. Admit cards will be released in March, a few days before the exam. To rectify the errors, the body will open a correction window too.

MHT CET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 eligibility criteria are presented here:
Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
Age Limit: No upper or lower age limit.
Educational Qualification:
- Passed Class 12 from a recognised board.
- PCM group for Engineering; PCB group for Pharmacy.
- Minimum 45% marks (General) and 40% (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).
Subject Marks:
- At least 45% in PCM/PCB (General); 40% for reserved categories.
Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for Class 12 in 2026 can also apply.
Domicile: No domicile requirement for the exam. State quota admissions require Maharashtra domicile.
Other than these, reserved-category applicants must corroborate their eligibility under these quotas by presenting a valid caste and non-creamy layer certificates.
