The MHT CET 2026 application process was completed by 12 February 2026 through the official website (cetcell.mahacet.org). Candidates were required to fill out the MHT CET 2026 application form. Below is the step-by-step process for the MHT CET 2026 application process:


Step 1: New Registration

Visit the official website cetcell.mahacet.org to register for admission counselling for colleges in Maharashtra. You will find a link to register on the website for counselling and other details. 


Step 2: Application Form 

To begin, fill out the application form with the required details, including personal details, contact details, and previous qualifications. You have to select a preferred list of colleges as per your program requirements. 


Step 3: Document Verification 

Once the application form is submitted, you have to verify the original documents. As listed on the official website and registration portal, verify your documents. 


Step 4: Merit List & Seat Allotment 

Initially provisional merit list is released by the CET cell, followed by the final merit list. Students have to check out the merit list and appear for counselling rounds accordingly. Based on the merit list, seat allotment is done for various courses. Students get notified on the registration portal for their seat allotment. 


Step 5: Reporting to the College 

Once you get a seat allotted in the college, you have to report to the college with your original documents. These documents include your 10+2 mark sheet, MHT CET admit card, MHT CET score card, and seat allotment confirmation.

Steps to Download MHT CET 2026 Admit Card

Below are the steps to download the MHT CET 2026 Admit Card.

  1. Visit Website: Visit the official web portal of Maharashtra CET Cell: cetcell.mahacet.org. It is the sole genuine site to download the admit card.
  2. Get Link of Admit Card: On the main page, go to the message or main link called MHT CET 2026 Admit Card Download. It will begin to be active as the admit cards are out.
  3. Log into the Candidate Portal: Enter the application number and password or date of birth as used in registration. Be sure the details are carefully entered to avoid login side errors.
  4. Download Admit Card: After you log in, your admit card will be displayed. Review all Information such as your name, roll number, date of exam, reporting time, and address of the exam center.
  5. Download the Admit Card: Click the download button to download a soft copy of your admit card in a PDF file. It is recommended to save a backup copy on their phone or their email address just to be safe
  6. Make Copies: Print 2-3 copies of the admit card on A4-sized paper. Bring one and keep the rest at home to refer to them later, as the admit card is also a requirement during the time of counselling and admission.
