How to Check MAT Results 2026?

To check your MAT 2026 results, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official AIMA MAT website at mat.aima.in.
Step 2: Click on the “MAT Result” link — usually found on the homepage or under the “Student Dashboard.”
Step 3: Log in using your credentials — enter your roll number and date of birth.
Step 4: View your scorecard — it will display your sectional scores, composite score (out of 800), and percentile.
Step 5: Download and print — save a copy for future admission and counselling rounds.

MAT 2026 Counselling

MAT counselling is the admission process for selecting MBA/PGDM candidates. It involves shortlisting, interviews, and final selection based on MAT scores. The MAT 2026 counselling process will be tentatively conducted in April 2026. The key steps in the MAT counselling process are listed below:

  1. Check MAT Results: Candidates can access their MAT scorecard on the official website. The MAT score determines eligibility for the participating institutes.
  2. Shortlisting by Colleges: B-schools shortlist candidates based on MAT cutoff scores. Each college has its own cutoff requirements based on individual admission criteria.
  3. Application to Preferred Institutes: Candidates who are shortlisted can apply to colleges of their choice. Some colleges may charge an additional application fee.
  4. Group Discussion (GD) Round: Candidates who have been selected will be asked to participate in a GD round.
  5. Personal Interview (PI) Round: Candidates will be required to appear for a PI round where their personality, subject knowledge, and career goals will be evaluated.
  6. Written Ability Test (WAT) (if applicable): Institutes may ask candidates to take a WAT to evaluate their writing skills and critical thinking.
  7. Final Selection and Merit List: Colleges will prepare a merit list of students based on MAT scores, GD, PI, and WAT. If selected, candidates will receive admission offers.
  8. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: Candidates must pay the admission fee to secure their seat. The institution will provide all necessary enrollment information.
