NMC Grants Approval to 25 New Medical Colleges
The NMC has issued Letters of Permission (LoP) to the 25 newly established medical colleges for 2026-27 academic year. From these, 7 are government medical colleges and 18 are private medical colleges. These approvals have added 2111 government MBBS seats and 7800 private MBBS seats which led to the total increase to 9911 seats.
