NEET PG 2025 Round 3: Final Choice Filling Dates Announced, 66 Seats Added, Check State-wise Updates

MCC has issued an urgent notice informing NEET PG candidates of the final timeline of NEET PG Counselling Round 3 choice filling and choice locking. The last date to fill the choices and locking is 30 January 2026 till 8:00 AM. The choice locking facility will be activated today, 29 Jnauary from 6:00 PM. The locking window will be closed on the same deadline of choice filling, 30 January 2026, till 8:00 AM.

A PDF of the new seats has also been published. According to the PDF, 66 seats have been added in NEET PG Round 3 seat matrix. The MCC NEET PG Round 3 dates were extended to accommodate the withdrawal of seats. Now MCC has released the updated timeline and a list of available eats to grab from withdrawal.

Newly Added Seats - NEET PG Counselling 2025

The Delhi High Court dismissed the opposing plea of the NEET PG cutoff. The court has asked whether it would be in the public interest to leave the postgraduate medical seats vacant. The bench has declined to interfere, clarifying that the seats should not be left unfilled. The event of reduced NEET PG cutoff was challenged, as several stakeholders were demanding legal intervention to uphold the credibility of a national-level exam that decides the medical specialists. The MCC has released the NEET PG Round 3 counselling seat matrix amid NEET PG Counselling 2025 process. MCC published the official notice announcing the seat matrix with newly added seats, virtual vacancies, clear vacancies, reduced cutoff percentile for NEET PG and  All India Quota NEET PG Counselling Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round.  Amid the growing controversy at reduced cutoff, a PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the validity of the decision.
