The release of the Re-NEET State Wise Rank List 2026 will be done after the announcement of the All India Rank (AIR) by NTA at neet.nta.nic.in. The NTA releases three types of NEET 2026 Merit List, such as All India Rank (AIR), 85% State Quota and 15% All India Quota (AIQ). The Re-NEET provisional answer key will be released after a few days, as the Re-NEET 2026 exam has already been conducted. In the previous year, the NEET exam was on 4th May 2025, and its results were released on 14th June 2025. NEET UG is done for admission to more than 1 lakh MBBS and 27,618 BDS seats provided by the government, central, private and deemed universities situated in the state. Besides MBBS and BDS, depending on the NEET 2026 state rank, admission is provided to AYUSH courses and 603 BVSc and AH courses. 

The expected Re-NEET 2026 score range is given category-wise as follows:

• UR/EWS: 700-140
• UR or EWS-PwD: 130-115
• OBC, SC, ST: 150-120
• OBC/SC/ST-PwD: 130-115

The state counselling committees publish the NEET state rank list for admission to 85% state quota, along with all seats in private medical as well as dental colleges. Admissions to private and government colleges in the state are performed with the help of the NEET UG 2026 state merit list for qualifying candidates in the exam. NEET rank 2026 is the determining factor for the counselling process. The Re-NEET counselling 2026 is expected to begin in July and will carry on till September 2026.

The tie occurs when 2 or more than 2 candidates get the same marks in entrance exam and apply in the same state then they must follow the tie-breaking criteria given below.

• Applicants with higher marks or percentile scores in Biology are ranked higher.
• If the tie exists, applicants with more marks or percentile scores in Chemistry are given preference.
• If the tie does not get resolved, applicants with a less ratio of wrong to right answers across all the subjects are given significance.
• If required, a lower ratio of wrong to right answers particularly in Biology are the next deciding factor.
• If the tie still exists, applicants with a lower ratio of wrong to right answers in Chemistry are ranked higher.
• As a final criteria, applicants who have a lower ratio of wrong to right answers in Physics get the higher rank.
